Power Factor monitoring for the City of Zurich. Based upon accurate measurements of active and reactive power, IVPower has been used for monitoring the power factor at the points of supply of the City of Zurich, at 220kV level, and investigating the best control strategies for keeping the power factor very close to 1 (full active power) without compromising the voltage in the internal 150kV subtransmission network.
